Side Effects
Some Reductil users can experience some side effects which include:
- Loss of appetite
- Constipation
- Dry mouth.
The side effects go from very mild and in a small number of instances quite severe. These side effects generally wear off a short time after you start taking it.
Some other less common side effects that may occur include:
- Headache
- Increased sweating
- An increase in blood pressure and heart rate.
These side effects do not usually stop the user taking Reductil. If you develop a symptom and feel uncomfortable you should consult your doctor as soon as possible.
Reductil should not be used by pregnant women, or woman who breast feed, as this can be dangerous to the child and yourself.
It is also important to advise your doctor about any current medication that you take, as reductil should not be taken in combination with some other medications.
During your Reductil treatment if you ever feel unwell for any period of time you should seek your GP’s advice without delay
